The Fund shall seek to generate long-term capital growth from an actively managed portfolio of listed equities of companies domiciled in the MENA region including Saudi Arabia . The Fund would seek to acquire equities with good long term potential, which are available at attractive valuations. Such equities would be identified through a mix of styles keeping in view medium to long-term trends in the business environment. The fund manager shall allocate resources depending on the available investment opportunities in the stock market, if the fund manager is of the opinion that equities are reasonably/attractively valued.
The fund manager shall use a mix of three styles for stock picking: (1) Value Investing - The fund manager shall select equities which trade below their intrinsic value; (2) Growth Investing - The fund manager shall select those equities whose earnings are expected to grow at an above average rate relative to the market; (3) Momentum Investing - The fund manager shall identify acceleration in a stock's price, earnings or revenues and accordingly take a position in the equity for short periods.
